I used to go to a much smaller store. Staff was decent sized for the place, about 6 people or so. However, there were times I had ordered something and it take me an hour or more to get out of the store when I come to pick it up. The thing that blew my mind is that there were only 2 - 3 other customers in the store (besides me of course).
I recently went to San Diego Hydroponics & Organics in East County. I just so happened to show up on their first customer appreciation day, and the place was PACKED with people. I could barely move through the crowd without bumping into someone. Even with that much business going on, an employee (named Chad) had come up within minutes and asked if he could help me find anything. That day I was in need of about 3 bags of B\'cuzz CoCo, 1 large bag of perlite, a Sentinel and about 28 3.2 gallon buckets. I was in and out of there in about an hour, after talking to Chad about all my options for my setup. Considering how busy they were, and the fact I even chatted with an employee for a while..I\'d say that\'s extremely quick. I have been going back to this place ever since.
