These shops are a joke. They have the worst selection and customer service out of all the shops I use, both online and walk in. They are always conveniently out of everything you go in to purchase; they will only carry particular sizes of products, and they don\\\'t have the same products available at all times. They carry a random assortment of goods like a bad office grab bag at a company party. And be weary, just because a box is on a shelf, doesn\\\'t mean it is in stock--you may pick a box off the shelf, but there isn\\\'t any equipment in it. (And it\\\'s not like Blockbuster, the equipment isn\\\'t at the counter ready to be matched up with the box.) Think they might have it in stock? Well good luck. It\\\'s either just a display, or they\\\'re \\\"waiting for a delivery.\\\" I drive two hours to another state to avoid using these guys. Only one of my local friends continues to use them but is finally fed up after years of abuse. He has now been waiting three weeks for a $400 carbon filter that he paid for in advance. The rest of us have slowly been alienated in one way or another by these guys, especially the one who calls himself Scott in the Carbondale store. This pretentious guy is at the crux of the problem. You go in looking for advice and instead you get a sales pitch about whatever magic product they are pumping that week. So you buy some hoping for the best, mostly because you are pushed into a corner, then when you go back to get more, they don\\\'t have it or it\\\'s no longer being made. The sad part is that the owner is actually a really nice guy, he is the reason I started shopping with them years ago. This is back when they only had one shop in downtown cape girardeau, as they moved north and expanded things got worse and worse. This is the only store where the employes fight with you about checking on your order or calling. I thought the customer was always right...well, not here, they always seem to be doing you the favor.
