Everything he sells is over MSRP!! Many more hydroponic gardening stores have moved into the neighborhood now with far better prices. I highly recommend shopping around. You\'re not going to find a very knowledgeable staff, either. The Portland store isn\'t that bad, but it isn\'t fantastic either.

I have been doing business with them for nearly 4 years. Have always found them to be polite and helpful. They have been helpful when I needed something returned under warranty, even offering a loaner until I got the unit back.
As far as prices are concerned, you get what you pay for, I know there are other stores selling lesser quality products, but for what UGS sells, their prices are very competitive, and it saves me a trip to Mass to buy the equipment I needed. They have a store in Brewer, and I understand another opening soon in Portland. Would highly recommend them for all your needs. Sage Started Here

I had positive results during my visit. They have a large selection of nutrients, a few different lighting choices & different growing mediums just for starters. They set up a couple hydroponic systems, so beginners like myself can see how it works & everyone has always been polite. Maybe I haven\'t met the owner yet....

my experience at this store left me looking for a better place to shop. the owner is rude and their products are way overpriced. seems that all they want is money and not repeat customers. don\'t bother going.
